ADULT SERVICES
We offer full assessment, reporting and treatment in the following areas:
- Dysarthria (difficulty making sounds correctly and clearly with the tongue, lips and palate)
- Acquired Apraxia of Speech (difficulty planning tongue and lip movements for speech)
- Aphasia (difficulty speaking or understanding words)
- Primary Progressive Aphasia (difficulty speaking or understanding words as a result of dementia)
- Cognitive-communication disorders stemming from brain injury/ dementia (issues with memory, attention, planning and organizing that impact communication)
- Fluency/Stuttering (repetition of sounds/ parts or words and the resulting psychological impacts)
- Voice problems (vocal strain and misuse, persistent hoarseness, quiet voice)
- Professional and Business Communication (improving your word choice, clear idea expression and voice projection)
- Accent Reduction (modifying accents of non-native English speakers to improve intelligibility)
- Swallowing disorders (difficulties with coughing, choking or sense of sticking while eating/ drinking)
- Problems reading and writing after neurological change
