Dialog Speech Therapy is a new private speech-language therapy company in Calgary, owned and operated by Ryan Szarko, MSc.SLP, R.SLP, (C). Ryan is a fully insured Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current provincial and national registration. Since graduating with a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007, Ryan has worked in a wide variety of challenging and unique therapy contexts, providing SLP services to both children and adults. Ryan’s experience with children includes treating kids of all ages with speech-sound (articulation/ phonological) disorders, language delays, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, social-language issues stemming from Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, brain injury and rare congenital disorders. Ryan’s experience with adults includes working in many hospitals, outpatient clinics and The Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (ARBI). Ryan has advanced clinical practice experience with individuals who suffer from stroke, brain injury, dementia, Parkinson’s, MS, CP, swallowing disorders and many other neurological issues. With both kids and adults, Ryan has been recognized for his innovative, caring treatment approach that focuses on real-world communication needs.
